Tip 2: Assign estimates properly

One common flaw in budgeting is overshooting your expected income vis-à-vis your estimated expenses. You must be accurate. If you have variations in expenses and income then you need to develop a good way of estimating that allows for little error.

Always underestimate income and over estimate expenses if in doubt.

Tip 3: Keep tabs on spending
